Thank you for your interest in adopting a rescued Basset Hound! We ask all potential adopters to complete our application and approval process first so we can discuss the dogs that fit your home. We usually have 25 - 35 dogs available and the ages range from less than year old to ten plus years old. Once we receive your application you'll be contacted by an adoption representative to complete the application process. We look forward to speaking with you about our wonderful hounds waiting for forever homes!!!

What happens next
- Contact Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
- They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
- Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
- Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
