Notes from Save The Satos

Meet Juniper, a beautiful 4-month-old Shepherd mix whose story began in a place no puppy should have to call home.

Juniper and her nine littermates were discovered underneath a school building in Puerto Rico, struggling to survive on their own. Our rescue team was able to bring all ten puppies to safety and give them the chance at a future they never would have had on the streets.

Now Juniper is ready for a family of her own.

She's a sweet, curious puppy who is ready to explore everything life has to offer. Juniper has an adventurous side, but she's also incredibly affectionate and loves settling into your arms for some well-earned cuddles.

For Juniper, the hard part is over. She doesn't have to worry about where she'll sleep or how she'll survive anymore. Now she just needs someone to show her what it means to belong.

She was rescued from underneath a school. Her next home should be the one she never has to leave.

Could Juniper's happily ever after be with you?

What happens next

  1. Contact Save The Satos using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Save The Satos, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
