Notes from For the Love of Dog - Rottweiler Rescue

ADOPTION FEE WAIVED Through Sep 30

Rubble is a big, lovable, go-with-the-flow guy who truly just wants to be wherever his people are. At around 5 years old, he has that perfect adult-dog energy — happy to snooze the day away if you let him, but always ready to tag along for an adventure. He’s calm, easygoing, and incredibly content just being part of your day.

Rubble is impressively well-mannered. He is amazing in his crate — calmly walks right in, settles easily, and stays relaxed the entire time. He mostly walks very nicely on a leash and is easy to handle. He enjoys exercise and adventures, but he doesn’t require constant activity, making him a great match for someone who wants a companion without nonstop high energy.

Rubble has done well with female dogs and cats and is not overly playful with other dogs. He would likely do best with a calm, respectful dog sibling — or as the only pet soaking up all the love.

Overall, Rubble is a happy, gentle, loving soul who just wants a forever family to call his own. He’s the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, curl up nearby, and make your house feel like home.
