Notes from Greater Charlotte SPCA

Meet Pawley!

Say hello to Pawley, a 7-year-old Beagle/Basset Hound girl with a big smile, a happy heart, and a whole lot of love to give! At 36 pounds, this adorable low-rider has a little bit of extra length and a whole lot of personality.

Pawley has spent much of her life having litter after litter, but now it’s finally her turn to be spoiled and loved. She absolutely adores people and wants to soak up every bit of attention you’re willing to give. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will make you smile every day, Pawley might just be your girl!

She’s a happy, smiling sweetheart who is already crate trained and house trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home.

Pawley has given so much throughout her life. Now she deserves a family who will give her all the love, comfort, belly rubs, and attention she could ever want. Could you be the one to make her golden years the very best yet?

Adopt Pawley and let this sweet, smiley low-rider show you just how much love she has left to give

If you are interested in adopting Pawley , please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **

  1. Contact Greater Charlotte SPCA using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Greater Charlotte SPCA, never to AdoptNearby.
