Mama Mira

Meet Mira – Our Beautiful Starry-Eyed Mama! ✨

Meet Mama Mira, a beautiful girl with a gentle face, a very special name and a story that is only just beginning.

Mira came into the care of Pawfect Match Rescue & Rehabilitation with her tiny babies after a difficult start to their lives. Thankfully, a wonderful lady named Lisa stepped in and gave this little family the love, safety and care they so desperately needed.

Now, Mama Mira and her babies have moved into their foster home at The Woodland Nursery, where they are being cared for by their foster family as they begin their next chapter.

Mira's name was chosen with a little thought behind it. Named after a real star in the night sky, Mira means "wonderful" in Latin. It's a star whose brightness changes over time, and we thought that was rather fitting for a girl whose own life is hopefully about to become so much brighter.

At approximately 38 lbs, Mira is a lovely medium-sized girl who currently has the very important job of raising her young puppies. For now, her days are all about feeding her babies, getting plenty of rest and learning that she and her little family are safe.

As Mira settles into foster care, we'll be getting to know more about her personality, her likes and dislikes, and the type of home that will suit her best.

What we do know is that this lovely girl has already been through quite a lot, and she deserves the opportunity to enjoy a life where she is loved for being Mira, not just for being a mama.

Mira isn't quite ready to leave her babies just yet, but when the time comes, we would love nothing more than to see this beautiful girl find a family of her very own.

For now, she's safe, she's loved, and her next chapter is looking a little brighter.

Currently in foster care in Cary, North Carolina
