Notes from ASPCA Behavioral Rehabilitation Center
Introducing Baby Stripes! Baby Stripes is a playful and cuddly girl who finds joy in socializing with other dogs, cozying up with a nice blanket and snacking on a chew stick. She recently spent time in a foster home where she was described as “cartoon-like” when she played with the resident dogs and people — and we could not agree more!
Baby Stripes was originally found as a stray and came into our care with fear of new people, new situations and leash walking. She has made a lot of progress in her time here and has graduated into a resilient, companion pup who is ready to find a home of her own. Baby Stripes is seeking a home where she can continue to grow her confidence and build resilience.
Baby Stripes truly loves other dogs and has made many dog friends, both here at the BRC and with the resident dogs in her foster home. She enjoys some light wrestling and chase games with her pals and has even been a helper dog for our other pups!
Baby Stripes can take a little longer to warm up to new people before showing her animated self, but she has enjoyed incorporating treats when meeting new friends! She also gains confidence while in the presence of other dogs. Once you’re her friend, Baby Stripes enjoys petting, playing and even cuddling in your lap!
