Notes from Greater Charlotte SPCA

Clarke is a baby that is learning the world. He was found wandering with his sibling, Berrie. He loves to snuggle and now prefers inside living with the chill in the air. He is 11 weeks old. Working on house training, quiet in his crate.

If you are interested in adopting Clarke, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **

What happens next

  1. Contact Greater Charlotte SPCA using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Greater Charlotte SPCA, never to AdoptNearby.
