Notes from Orange County Animal Services

My name is Little Bear and I came to shelter when my previous owner could no longer care for me. My previous home states that I need to be in a home with no cats, and that I can be selective/reactive with other dogs (slow introductions recommended). But I really love people and I'll make an amazing companion in the right home! Insights from my adventure buddies and foster friends:Little Bear is the sweetest dog! He was so excited to see everyone we passed and was the perfect trail buddy! He was amazing on our walk and was so excited to get out of the shelter and explore! He did great passing by walkers, bikers, and other dogs! He wanted to say hi to everyone we passed but didn’t bark or lunge at anyone! He even got to say hi to Hubert Davis, so I think we have a Tar Heel puppy on our hands! My favorite thing about Little Bear was how happy he was! Throughout the walk he kept just looking back at me and smiling which was absolutely adorable! Little Bear is super friendly, sweet, and adorable! He’s full of energy, making him a great hiking buddy. When you have treats, he’ll immediately give you his full attention! He also has the cutest puppy eyes that are impossible to resist. He would definitely make a wonderful family dog or an amazing adventure companion! When he gets excited he likes to get mouthy and affectionate - love nibbles! He’s a sweetheart, he loves to give so many kisses. He’ll also sit and watch nature with you. Incredibly smart as well, he could easily be trained with some patience. He’s a sweetheart that just gets really excited and needs someone who can handle that! He also is a BIG jumper, he loves it and it’s adorable.
