Notes from Pawfect Match Rescue

Meet Pippen! He is about 1 year old and fully trained for all basic commands. He is house trained, knows his commands, comes on recall, sleeps in a crate, and is a very quick learner. Pippen is a very smart boy. He walks well on a leash, and he potties quickly while walking outside. He is great with other dogs of all sizes and plays with them well. He also does well with children and people. He loves people and prefers to be close to his family. He does okay alone, however, it’s clear that he really likes to be around others.

** The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed. Please go to https://www.pawfectmatch.org/animals/search? and search on the dog name to see more photos, browse the profile, and complete an application.

What happens next

  1. Contact Pawfect Match Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Pawfect Match Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
