Notes from Greater Charlotte SPCA
Meet Bruce – A Sweet Little Survivor with a Heart of Gold!
Bruce is an adorable one year old, 15-pound Jack Russell terrier mix, with a gentle spirit and so much love to give! This sweet boy has been through more than any dog should ever have to endure, but his story is one of strength, resilience, and second chances.
Bruce came into rescue after surviving a gunshot injury. Thankfully, the bullet passed through without leaving any fragments or lasting complications. Despite everything he's been through, Bruce remains an incredibly sweet and loving little guy. He's ready to leave that difficult chapter behind and begin a wonderful new life with a family of his own.
A few things to love about Bruce:
House-trained and has great manners! Walks beautifully on a leash. Loves going for car rides and adventures. Gets along well with other dogs. Has an incredibly sweet and gentle personality.
Bruce has already overcome so much, and now all he needs is a family to give him the love, comfort, and security he deserves.
Bruce's past may have been difficult, but his future can be beautiful—with you!
Could you be the happy ending to Bruce's story?
If you are interested in adopting Bruce, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
