A525531`Ty`3 year old, neutered male Tree Walker Hound Would be best without smaller kids since Ty gets scared very easily Ty came into the shelter as a stray but the owner came forward and then surrendered the dog to the shelter. When Ty came into the shelter, he came in underweight for what he is supposed to be, had open sores on his paw pads from what you see when a dog's paw pads have been on hot pavement. The shelter kennel staff has noticed that Ty is a very shy boy, he does get scared easily and needs a family that needs to understand Ty will need someone that is willing to expose him to positive things. Ty has finished his course of antibiotics for the feet and it will just take some time for them to heal up but they are looking so much better. While Ty has been here, he is also gaining weight nicely and acts so grateful for anything that you do for him. Adoption hours are Monday-Friday 11:00-3:30 & Saturday 8:00-11:30. If you have another dog or kids at home, meet & greets are required with everyone in the same household.
