Notes from Pawfect Match Rescue
Meet Maple – One of Our Precious Woodland Babies!
Despite his rather pretty name, Maple is actually a boy! And a very handsome little boy at that!
Maple is one of Mama Willow's six beautiful Woodland Babies, rescued by Pawfect Match when he was just around two weeks old, after a very difficult start to life.
Now four weeks old, Maple is thriving in his foster home, and what a gorgeous little character he's becoming!
Maple is one of the biggest babies in the litter, weighing around 50% more than some of his smaller siblings! His lovely mum, Willow, is a dainty 21lb mixed breed, but Dad remains a mystery, so quite how big this handsome boy will grow is anyone's guess!
What we do know is that Maple is a proper little snuggle bug. He loves being held close, soaking up affection and enjoying plenty of cuddles. He's also the instigator of fun! Always in the thick of it causing puppy chaos and asking everyone else to play.
Maple is being raised in a loving foster home, with lots of gentle handling, everyday household sounds, new experiences and plenty of opportunities to build confidence as he grows.
He's had a difficult beginning, but that's firmly behind him now, and we're determined that the rest of his story will be filled with love.
Maple isn't quite ready to pack his little suitcase just yet, but he'll be looking for his forever home when he's around eight weeks old. Applications are welcome now!
Could you be the family who gives this gorgeous, cuddly little boy the happy ending he deserves? ❤️
