Olive
Plott Hound / Mixed (medium coat) · Young (9 months) · Female · Large · Charlotte, NC
Notes from Greater Charlotte SPCA
Olive is estimated to be around ten months old and she’s around 45 lbs. We believe she is smaller plott hound mix. She had a beautiful brindle coat and a very sweet personality. She is shy but opens up as she spends time with her foster family. Olive opens up even more when she’s out in the l yard with other dogs. She’s learning about the joy of toys and favors her Halloween lamp chop stuffy. She currently lives with two dogs and two cats and does a great job respecting the cat’s boundaries and has shown no signs of following or chasing them. She does great in her crate and will go in there to nap on her own. She is house trained and rides well in the car but she is still working on walking on a leash. Olive loves to be with her people and snuggle on the couch. When she ventures outside she likes to run in the yard and enjoy the sunshine. Olive would make a great companion for another dog who could show her confidence but she would also love being the only pet and getting all the attention.
If you are interested in adopting Olive, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.
**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
