Meet Josie!

Breed: Shepherd / Husky Mix

Status: Tripod (Right Rear Leg Amputee

Personality: Happy, loving, and a complete sweetheart!

Look at those striking, bright blue eyes and that big, beautiful smile ! Josie is a gorgeous Shepherd/Husky mix who doesn't let missing a leg slow her down . She is a resilient, cheerful girl who is looking for a forever home where she can shower her family with love.

The Good Stuff:

Family Friendly: She absolutely loves people, kids, and other dogs ! She will make a wonderful addition to a dog-friendly house or a family with children

House Manners: Fully housebroken and crate trained, making her transition into a new home smooth and easy

Spirit: She has that classic Husky/Shepherd charm—alert, expressive, and full of affection .

Home Requirements: Josie lost her back leg after unfortunately being hit by a car . Because of this experience, she remains hyper-focused on vehicles . For her own safety and peace of mind, she requires a home with a securely fenced yard that is not located on a main or high-traffic road .

Josie has overcome so much and is ready to start her next chapter with a loving family. If you have a quiet neighborhood, a fenced yard, and room in your heart for this sweet tripod girl, Josie is ready to meet you !
