Notes from Pawfect Match Rescue

Meet Louvre! This beautiful German Shepherd puppy is ready to find her forever family.

Louvre is a happy, playful puppy who loves exploring, learning new things, and being with her people. Her foster family has noticed that she sometimes does a little “bunny hop” when she runs, so her vet took X-rays to check her hips.

The good news is that the X-rays looked encouraging, and there is no confirmed diagnosis of hip dysplasia at this time. Because she is still growing, there could be some looseness in her hips that does not always show on regular X-rays, so her future family should plan to monitor her hips as she gets older and follow their veterinarian’s recommendations.

Like many large-breed puppies, Louvre will benefit from staying at a healthy weight and getting appropriate exercise while she grows.

Most importantly, Louvre is a sweet, smart puppy with so much love to give. She is looking for a family who will help her grow into the amazing dog she is meant to be!
