Notes from Pawfect Match Rescue

<3 A Special Note About Me

I'm part of Pawfect Match's Special Care & Rehabilitation Program. My journey is a little different than most.

Some of us are healing from medical conditions. Some of us are learning to trust. Some of us have special needs or require a very specific home to thrive. While we're always open to meeting the right family, our priority is making sure we're happy, healthy, and loved every step of the way.

For me, that means it would take a truly special home—someone who understands my unique needs and is committed to giving me the life I deserve. If that person comes along, we'd love to hear from them! Until then, Pawfect Match is proud to be my safety net and my family.

My care doesn't stop after my rescue. Food, medications, routine veterinary care, enrichment, and lots of love are all part of my everyday life.

If you'd like to be part of my journey, please consider making a donation toward my daily care. Every gift, no matter the size, helps dogs like me continue to receive the second chances we deserve.

***Weather is very scared and will need a secure and patient home for adoption***Weather and all her Puppies came to Pawfect Match when the Babies were less than a week old. Weather was and is still scared to death. You see, Weather came from a property in SC where over the course of 15 months Pawfect Match rescued over 200 dogs between the two adjacent property. Weather is the second to last to be rescued but not for lack of trying. She had no name--she was called Juvi girl for juvenile. She has no attention. She is the daughter of Momma Bear and sister of Sylvie, niece of Sadie, Rocket, and Venture. She needs love and patience and someone to show her how to trust. She is finally letting her foster mom pet her though she still flinches. She was recently spayed and believe it or not heartworm and tick born disease negative. She is a manificently sweet girl waiting for love and patience. You must have a fenced yard and be willing to spend months gaining her trust. Are you her person? The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed.
