Notes from Pawfect Match Rescue

Astro is the neighborhood flirt who wants to be the center of your world. He’s always on the hunt for cuddles and snuggles and will be loyal beyond all doubt. If a wet ball is your thing, Astro can spend hours playing fetch in the yard – as long as you are by his side. A true best friend, Astro is waiting to see if you are his match so put in an application to meet him!

Astro is good with cats but does not like other dogs. He would do best in an only dog home with a fenced yard, but a yard isnt required

The adoption fee is $400, which covers food, vetting, microchip and the spay/neuter surgery performed by a rescue-affiliated vet. All dogs receive a wellness visit and are up to date on shots appropriate for age. Breed and size is Pawfect Match Rescue's best guess and not guaranteed. Please go to https://www.pawfectmatch.org/animals/search? and search on the dog name to see more photos, browse the profile, and complete an application

What happens next

  1. Contact Pawfect Match Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Pawfect Match Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
