Notes from Greater Charlotte SPCA

Meet Luna. She’s a 9-year-old Shepherd mix who weighs about 45 pounds, and she’s just an easygoing, mellow gal to have around the house.

Luna already has all the important house rules down. She’s fully house-trained, does great in her crate, and is more than happy to snooze quietly while you're busy with your day. When it’s family time, she's wonderful with kids and always down for some low-key affection.

When it comes to walks, she gets the job done. She can occasionally let out a little bark if she spots another dog, but she's responsive to direction and settles right down. She's simply a sweet, low-maintenance companion looking for a cozy couch and a family to call her own.

If you are interested in adopting Luna, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
