Notes from Animal Rescue Fund of MS

Leo is still just a young soul who hasn’t had the chance to be a dog yet.

He came to the shelter as a puppy and has grown up behind kennel bars—full of energy, curiosity, and a heart that just needs direction. Right now, he can be a little unsure and reactive in the kennel, but that’s life in a loud, overwhelming place… not who he truly is.

Give him space to run, time to learn, and someone patient to guide him—and you’ll start to see the real Leo come out.

He doesn’t need perfect. He just needs a chance.

What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Rescue Fund of MS using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Rescue Fund of MS, never to AdoptNearby.
