Notes from Animal Rescue Fund of MS

Meet Millie, our resident silver land seal and the ultimate couch potato! Millie has been waiting for her forever family since 2020. After years in the shelter, this sweet senior girl is ready to officially retire into a life of luxury, soft beds, and endless love. Because of her long shelter stay, she has put on quite a few extra pounds and is currently living the curvy life. She also has an old leg injury that did not heal perfectly, which gives her a unique, endearing waddle.

What happens next

  1. Contact Animal Rescue Fund of MS using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Animal Rescue Fund of MS, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
