Cayenne
Chihuahua / Shih Tzu / Mixed (medium coat) · Baby · Male · Small · Mountain View, MO
Notes from Thistle Hill Rescue
Cayenne has an interesting back story. He was born 6/15/26 in an Amish breeding kennel, then sent to a pet shop via another breeder. The pet shop rejected Cayenne because he was "too big" (he weighs 7 pounds, 10 ounces) and the breeder then consigned him to a dog auction, where he was purchased into rescue. He is reportedly a cross of a chihuahua and a shih tzu, but only a DNA test can confirm that as he really doesn't look much like either breed. He is shy but very sweet, and good with other pups. He is microchipped and has been vaccinated and dosed with Nexgard Plus for flea, tick, heartworm and intestinal worm prevention. Because he is too young to neuter, he will be placed with a neuter contract. When proof of surgery is received, adopter will be mailed a rebate check for $50.00 His adoption fee is $250.00 If you would like to adopt Cayenne, email me at thistle88@centurytel.net and request an application.
