Notes from The Animal Rescue Alliance

Please visit our web site at https://tarasdream.org/adopt to fill out an adoption application for this pet and for more info about our adoption process.

Meet Duke! This sweet boy is avout 18 months old, and he is so playful and full of energy. He ADORES children and would love to go to a home with kids of his own! He also gets along great with other dogs and all kinds of people. He is high energy and would probably do best in a home with someone who can give him play breaks throughout the day, a runner or even doggy daycare to get some of his wiggles out. Overall he just wants to share all of his love all the time!

Approximate Birthdate: April 2025

Adoption Fee: $200

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

What happens next

  1. Contact The Animal Rescue Alliance using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to The Animal Rescue Alliance, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
