Notes from Furry Kids Refuge

Approx. DOB: 7/11/2026 Current Weight(as of ): 6pds Adoption Fee: $275 includes 1 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness. Meet this adorable 13-week-old Toy Fox Terrier mix boy named Nevada! He’s a playful little guy with a big personality and plenty of puppy energy. He loves to play, explore, and make everyone around him smile! He’s currently working hard on his potty training and learning all the important puppy skills. With his sweet face, fun-loving personality, and curious nature, he’s sure to bring lots of joy and laughter to his forever home. He will need a companion to help with his confidence and a fenced yard to play.

Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption. All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting/adopting one of them just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch.

What happens next

  1. Contact Furry Kids Refuge using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Furry Kids Refuge, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
