Notes from St Charles County Humane Services

Meet Acetenn! Acetenn is a 10-month-old Black Lab with a rescue story you’d expect to see in a movie. After being found running the streets in 90-degree heat, scared and unsure of the people trying to help him, he was finally caught—and given the chance to learn what safety and love feel like. In just a few weeks, Acetenn has transformed into a completely different dog. He is playful, affectionate, goofy, and eager to learn. Most importantly, he’s beginning to understand that he is safe. Acetenn is looking for a very special home with: A playful dog best friend—this is a MUST! He absolutely loves having a canine companion to play with and learn from. Someone who wants to PLAY, PLAY, PLAY! He is still a puppy and has the energy to prove it. A patient family who will continue teaching him and helping him build his confidence. A forever home where he will never have to wonder if he’s safe again. Acetenn is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and ready to find his happily ever after. His foster has completely fallen in love with him, and now we are looking for the family who will love this sweet, goofy boy just as much. Could that family be yours?
