Notes from The Animal Rescue Alliance

Please visit our web site at https://tarasdream.org/adopt to fill out an adoption application for this pet and for more info about our adoption process.

This beautiful girl was dumped at a high kill shelter because her family was moving. Luckily for her she was saved just in time! Luna is the sweetest thing you will ever meet, she loves all people and other dogs. She is still a pup so needs a little basic training but she is smart and eager to learn!

Approximate Birthdate: August 2025

Adoption Fee: $200

TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm and flea prevention, and deworming. TARA's pets are all eligible for a TWO WEEK TRIAL.

Due to the fact that many of our dogs come from the local city shelters, we do not know the background of many of them and therefore cannot always guarantee age or breed. Size is subjective but we use the following guidelines:

Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg) X-Large 101 lbs (46 kg) or more

For more information please fill out an application.

What happens next

  1. Contact The Animal Rescue Alliance using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to The Animal Rescue Alliance, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
