Notes from United Doberman Rescue

Meet Rufio! Rufio is a stunning 10-month-old Doberman who is ready to find his forever home! This handsome young guy is dog friendly and super smart, making him highly trainable and eager to learn. He has plenty of typical young Doberman energy and will thrive with an active family who enjoys training, exercise, and giving their dog plenty of appropriate outlets. Rufio has lived with cats and can coexist with them, but he does enjoy chasing and trying to play with them, so a home without cats may be the best fit. Rufio is a strong, energetic young Doberman who will do best with an experienced, confident handler who can provide structure, consistency, and continued training. He is NOT a good fit for a home with kids. With the right guidance, this smart boy has the potential to be an amazing companion! Rufio will be neutered as soon as possible as part of his adoption process. If you're looking for a smart, energetic, trainable young Doberman to grow and learn with, Rufio may be your guy! https://www.uniteddobermanrescue.org/

What happens next

  1. Contact United Doberman Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to United Doberman Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
