Notes from PJ's Rescue

Meet Jacob!

From orphaned baby to happy, thriving puppy, Jacob has already come such a long way in his short little life!

Jacob and his siblings were discovered outside without their mama when they were just tiny babies. Despite their challenging start, they’ve grown into an incredibly strong, affectionate, outgoing group of puppies, and Jacob is no exception!

Now 7 weeks old, Jacob is a mix of German Shepherd, Alaskan Malamute, Labrador Retriever, with a little Newfoundland and Siberian Husky. With that combination, his future family should be ready for a big dog with lots of love to give!

Jacob is a happy, friendly, social puppy who is ready to experience everything life has to offer. He’s still very much a baby, which means plenty of puppy antics, lots of learning, and endless opportunities to create wonderful memories together.

He hasn’t begun crate or potty training, but he and his siblings already keep their sleeping area very clean, which is a wonderful foundation to build on.

Jacob has already shown just how resilient he can be. Now he’s ready to find a family who will give him the love, patience, and guidance he deserves for the rest of his life! He is ready to go home 11/1!

What happens next

  1. Contact PJ's Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to PJ's Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
