Notes from No Dog Left Behind

Meet Pepin! Pepin is an adorable Heeler mix born around June 2026, and he is already doing SO good!

Pepin is a cute, cuddly young heeler mix. He loves being nearby if not right on your lap. He will approach you to get picked up and held. He is house-trained and will wait by the door when he needs to go. He can make through the entire night without needing to go outside. He does very well in the car and on walks. He plays along well with the other dogs in the house and would love to play with the cats, though he’s a bit too energetic for them at this point. He has learned to sit, lie down, and shake. He loves meeting new people of all ages as well as other dogs, though he will initially howl at them to make his presence known. He’s a fun young pup that would make a great addition to any home.

Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $625.00
