Notes from Across America Boxer Rescue

Lady & her pal Leo were left behind when their owner moved. Lady is a senior and a Boxer/Pug mix. The pair is going to the vet clinic to be all checked over and to get all of their needed vetting, incluidng neuter surgery for Leo. Lady is already spayed. They are both good with other dogs and formerly lived cats. UPDATE 10/3: Lady is approximately 11 or 12 years old. She is very sweet, loves people and loves to play tug of war and fetch. She loves going for walks and does great. She is totally housebroken, has been left loose in the house for up to six hours and does well. Lady has a thing for Kleenex so I make sure she doesn't have access to waste baskets, other than that she doesn't get into anything. She has been left loose with decorated Christmas trees and never bothered them. She's scared of loud noises, fireworks, thunder, loud noises on TV. She and her buddy Leo were left for 2 weeks with a volunteer, did well loose in their home and got along well with their 20 lb dog. Ladybug listens well, is as cute as a button and would be a joy for anyone to have.
