Notes from Macomb County Animal Shelter and Animal Control

Meet Jagger: Ready to Rock His Way Into Your Heart! Turn up the volume and get ready to meet Jagger, a 4-month-old Pitty puppy who is ready to steal the spotlight and find his forever bandmates! This little rock star came to us as a transfer from another rescue, and now he’s ready to start his next big adventure. Jagger is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines and will be neutered. For now, he is available through our foster-to-adopt program while he gets ready for his big debut in a forever home. Like any young rock star, Jagger is still learning how to find his rhythm! He can get a little distracted by all the exciting things happening around him, so training will be a huge help in building your bond and helping him learn what it means to be part of your pack. He’ll need guidance with leash walking, crate training, potty training, and basic obedience. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Jagger has all the potential to become your favorite lifelong companion. Because Jagger is still a puppy learning his manners, he is recommended for a home with children ages 10 and up. He’s still figuring out how to behave and navigate the world, so he’ll need a family ready to help him learn the ropes while giving him plenty of love, structure, and encouragement. Are you ready to let Jagger headline your life? If you’re looking for a fun, lovable pup to grow with, train, and make memories with, this little rocker could be your next big hit. Give Jagger the chance to go from rescue rookie to the star of your family’s show! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $100
