Notes from Macomb County Animal Shelter and Animal Control

Meet Stevie: A Little Rock Star Looking for Her Forever Stage! Get ready to turn up the volume for Stevie, a 4-month-old Pitty puppy who is ready to rock her way into your heart! This sweet girl came to us as a transfer from another rescue, and now she’s ready for her next big adventure. Stevie is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines and will be spayed. For now, she is available through our foster-to-adopt program, with the hope that she’ll soon find her perfect forever home and become the star of the show! Stevie is still a young pup discovering the world, and sometimes all the excitement can leave her a little distracted. She’ll benefit from training to help her learn your rhythm, build confidence, and strengthen the special bond you’ll share. She’ll need help with leash walking, crate training, potty training, and basic obedience. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Stevie can learn the ropes and grow into an amazing lifelong companion. Since Stevie is still learning her puppy manners, she is recommended for a home with children ages 10 and up. She’s still figuring out how to behave and navigate everyday life, so she’ll need a family ready to guide her with kindness, structure, and plenty of encouragement as she grows. Are you ready to let Stevie steal the spotlight? If you have room in your heart for a playful young pup and are ready to help her reach her full potential, Stevie may be the perfect addition to your band. She’s got a whole lifetime of love ahead of her, and all she needs is someone willing to share the stage. Let’s help this little rock star find her forever encore! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $100
