Notes from Macomb County Animal Shelter and Animal Control
Get ready to rock with Roxy, a 4-month-old Pitty puppy who is ready to bring some serious love and puppy energy into your life! This little rock star came to us as a transfer from another rescue and is ready to kick off the next chapter of her story. Roxy is up to date on all age-appropriate vaccines and will be spayed. For now, she is available through our foster-to-adopt program, where her temporary gig could turn into a lifelong encore with the right family! Roxy is still a young pup discovering the world, and sometimes all the excitement can leave her a little distracted. She’ll benefit from training to help her find her rhythm, learn your cues, and build a strong bond with her new family. She’ll need practice with leash walking, crate training, potty training, and basic obedience. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, Roxy can learn the ropes and grow into an amazing lifelong companion. Like any rising rock star, Roxy is still fine-tuning her puppy manners! She is recommended for a home with children ages 10 and up while she learns how to behave and navigate the world around her. She’ll thrive with a family ready to give her guidance, structure, and plenty of encouragement as she grows into the confident, well-mannered companion she’s meant to be. Are you ready to let Roxy rock your world? If you’re looking for a lovable young pup to learn and grow with, this little superstar could be your perfect match. With a little training, a lot of love, and a family cheering her on, Roxy is ready to steal the spotlight and make a lifetime of wonderful memories. Her greatest adventure is just beginning, and you could be the one to help her find her forever stage! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $100
