Notes from Detroit Animal Care and Control

-She walks very nicely, with only the occasional attempt to sneak in a hug! Once in the yard, she wanted nothing more than to climb into my lap for snuggles and affection. She gives lots of kisses and is a total cuddle bug. She’s treat motivated, will eventually offer a sit, and takes treats very gently.-Once she got comfortable, she even picked up a toy to play! She was happy to curl up in my lap and flip over for belly rubs, soaking up all the love. When I stopped, she suddenly popped up, ran a few circles around me, and came plowing right back into my lap! Her little burst of energy lasted about 10 seconds before she settled right back in for more belly rubs and kisses.-She was otherwise very calm and relaxed, with medium energy overall. She walked perfectly on the way back without pulling or jumping up. This girl has a sweet, affectionate side and a tiny little firecracker hiding in there, too!
