Notes from Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc.

Meet Remington - or Remy for short - the perfect adventure buddy who's been waiting for someone to choose him! I'm on the hunt for my forever adventure buddy... and by "adventure," I mean anything from hiking a trail to making a quick Target run. Honestly, I don't really care where we're going—as long as I get to ride shotgun (or at least in the backseat).I'm a pretty laid-back guy with a goofy streak that tends to sneak up on people. I’m a Belgian Malinois mix - the full package. One minute I'm looking all handsome and dignified, and the next I'm making silly faces, zooming around, or convincing you that I definitely deserve just one more treat. (Spoiler alert: I do.)I walk nicely on leash, love learning new things, and will happily work for snacks. Food is my love language. I'm also great with other dogs and have been respectful of the cat in my foster home. I believe in being a gentleman... unless we're talking about treats. At the end of the day, I'm really just looking for someone to do life with. We can explore new places, binge-watch TV, take long drives, or do absolutely nothing together. As long as we're together, I'm happy. So, what do you think? Ready to add a loyal sidekick, professional cuddle buddy, and part-time comedian to your family? I promise to make every day a little brighter—and I'll never judge your snack choices if you don't judge mine! Fostering saves lives. It gives dogs like Remy the opportunity to decompress, learn, and finally show the incredible companions they were always meant to be. Can you foster? Ready to adopt? Apply today or share Remy's story. His future may depend on someone seeing this post at just the right time. Help us give Remy the chance to finally find the team he's been waiting for.
