Meet Ramsey Eight Years Young and Ready for His Next Chapter! Ramsey has been through more than any dog should, but he's made an incredible comeback. After surviving severe neglect and arriving emaciated, he's now ready to find a person of his own. He's looking for a home where he can be part of the family, share adventures, and enjoy everything life still has to offer. At 8 years young, Ramsey is an active, enthusiastic guy who loves engaging with his people. He's athletic, has a strong toy drive, and would thrive with someone who enjoys spending time with their dog through training, enrichment, outdoor adventures, or even exploring dog sports together. You don't have to be a competitive handler to be Ramsey's person! An active individual or family who enjoys hiking, getting outside, and including their dog in daily life could be a great fit. Ramsey has plenty of enthusiasm for adventure and would love someone who gives him opportunities to use his brain and body. And beyond his active side, Ramsey has a sweet side, too. He enjoys affection, bonding with his people, and a good butt scratch. He's also great with kids and would love a family that makes him part of the fun, whether that's heading out for an adventure or spending time together at home. Ramsey isn't ready to slow down just because he's eight. He still has so much to offer, and we're hoping someone will look beyond his age and see the rewarding companion he could be. He's survived the hard part. Now, he deserves a person who will help him enjoy everything that comes next. All MAD dogs come with a series 3 Fi Collar and a six-month subscription. We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each of our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.
