Notes from Partnership for Animal Welfare

** Courtesy Post ** Please contact bsimson@gmail.com for inquiry and adoptionBurrito is a roughly 100 lb, six-year old, neutered Great Pyrenees. He is up to date on vaccines and was rescued four years ago. He is incredibly sweet. He loves belly rubs and to lean on you. He is pretty chill and prefers to guard the perimeter of the yard or lay near you rather than play. With good nutrition and genetic testing it was discovered that Burrito is pure bred. He has worked with trainers over the past few years and he has made excellent progress. He follows several commands such as touch, go to spot, sit, leave it etc. Burrito tolerates the owners' cat who is always trying to annoy him. He does well with people he knows but has strong guarding instinct which is typical of the breed. A home without children is probably best for Burrito. Please contact Burrito's family if you are interested at: bsimson@gmail.com

What happens next

  1. Contact Partnership for Animal Welfare using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Partnership for Animal Welfare, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
