Notes from Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center
Meet Petey! Petey is a 3-year-old Pit Bull with a big heart, lots of energy, and plenty of love to give! This affectionate boy knows “sit” and is very treat-motivated, making snacks a great way to win his attention. He loves belly rubs and meeting new people. His previous owner describes him as a loving companion who enjoys lounging around the house just as much as getting attention. Petey is housetrained and has lived with small dogs, cats, and young children. He can get overexcited when meeting new canine friends, so he’ll benefit from patient introductions and continued guidance. With the right support, positive reinforcement, and plenty of love, Petey has so much potential to shine.
