Notes from Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center

This ginger-colored sweetheart is ready to be your constant companion! Olivia is a joyful, affectionate girl who loves being wherever her people are—whether that means joining you on an adventure or curling up beside you on the couch. Olivia is housetrained, sleeps through the night, and loves car rides. She enjoys chew toys, tug, and showing off her impressive list of commands, including sit, paw, down, off, leave it, release, stay, and come. She’s also a professional cuddler who loves climbing into your lap for hugs and has already mastered the art of making herself comfortable on the couch! On walks, Olivia is enthusiastic and ready to explore. She walks beautifully on a harness, although squirrels, rabbits, and other critters can activate her inner huntress! She would love an active family who can give her plenty of opportunities to sniff, explore, play, and join in on adventures. Once the adventure is over, Olivia is perfectly happy to settle in for a nap. She’s a true Velcro dog who likes to keep her people in sight, following you around the house and patiently waiting when you’re busy. She even lets you know she needs to go outside—just don't expect a bark; Olivia prefers a polite little whine! Olivia has an adorable underbite, a playful personality, and a heart full of love. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who is always ready to go but equally happy to cuddle on the couch afterward, Olivia may be your perfect match!
