Bonnie — Your High‑Energy, Hilarious Little Firecracker

Bonnie is a big personality in a small puppy package. She’s a high‑energy, goofy rabble‑rouser who keeps everyone laughing with her silly antics and playful troublemaking. If there’s fun to be had, Bonnie is already in the middle of it.

She absolutely loves other dogs — playing chase, wrestling over toys, and then curling up with them for a cozy nap. She’s social, sweet, and happiest when she’s getting lots of attention from her people and her dog friends.

Bonnie is extremely food‑motivated and gets adorably enthusiastic about treats. She’s currently working on “sit” and “gentle,” and her eagerness to learn (and her love of snacks) makes training a breeze.

Despite her wild-child energy, Bonnie has a very sweet side. She loves cuddles, loves company, and loves being part of whatever her humans are doing.

Bonnie and her brother Clyde (DOB 7/11/26) were found as lonely, very hungry strays and taken to the local shelter. Both were underweight and malnourished, but since entering their foster home they’ve been thriving — gaining confidence, learning routines, and showing just how wonderful they truly are.

If you’re looking for a hilarious, affectionate, high‑spirited puppy who will bring endless joy and entertainment into your home, Bonnie is ready to be your new best friend.

Bonnie's adopters will be required to sign a spay/neuter addendum (including paying a refundable $100 spay/neuter fee) and a training addendum as part of the adoption contract.

What happens next

  1. Contact LOVEPAWS using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to LOVEPAWS, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
