Notes from Partnership for Animal Welfare

FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED FOR SADIE! Meet Sadie! This beautiful, energetic young lady from South Carolina is still very much a puppy at heart. She loves getting out to walk, sniff, explore, and generally see what the world has to offer—but she's also happy to stop for pets, cuddles, and a serious round of kisses. Check out her CUTE VIDEO! A few things we love about Sadie: She's a people dog. Sadie is sweet, affectionate, and loves attention. If there's a lap available, she's happy to climb into it. She's ready for adventure. Sadie has plenty of energy and loves getting out and about. She'll make a great companion for someone who enjoys walks, exploring, and keeping an active dog busy. She's ready to learn. Sadie knows “sit,” is working on “down,” and is very treat motivated—which makes training a lot more fun. She loves to play! Sadie enjoys playing with other dogs one-on-one. When there are several dogs together, however, she can become uncomfortable and may react, so smaller social settings are a better fit for her. She has previously done well with cats and children. She's a good traveler. Sadie is calm in the car, making her ready to tag along on adventures near and far. Sadie is still working on her leash skills and would love a home with a yard where she can run and play. She's a sweet, energetic girl who is ready for her next adventure—and plenty of cuddles along the way! PAW adopts in Maryland, DC, northern VA, and southern PA.
