Notes from A Home of Their Own Animal Rescue

Adopt Lucky! Meet Your New Best Friend Hi there, human friends! My name is Lucky, and I’m a handsome 6-year-old Border Collie mix looking for the person who will feel just as lucky to find me! At about 60 pounds, I’m past the messy puppy stage but still have plenty of classic Border Collie brains, energy, and personality. I’m easy to recognize by my sleek black coat, bright white socks, and the fancy white splash on my chest. Basically, I’m always dressed for a special occasion. I’m a social, affectionate guy who loves being part of the action. Adventures? Yes, please. Learning new tricks? Absolutely. Couch time after a busy day? I thought you’d never ask. I can get a little mouthy when I’m excited so I’d do best in an adult home or one without young children. I’m also selective about my dog friends. Some dogs get the tail-wagging seal of approval, while others don’t quite make the cut, so any potential canine sibling would need a thoughtful introduction. I may decide that being your one-and-only is the perfect arrangement—and honestly, I’m confident I can provide more than enough personality for one household. The Quick DetailsPersonality: Sweet, smart, social, active, and full of character Children: Best suited for an adult home or one without young kidsDog Friends: Selective; may do well with the right match after a careful introductionHealth: Neutered and have all of my core vaccines Come meet me and see whether Lucky might just be your lucky charm!
