Notes from Key to Lion's Heart Rescue

Meet Krew!

Looking for a fun-loving, playful, social little guy who is ready to be everyone’s best friend? Meet Krew!

Krew is now 6 months old (DOB: 4/4/2026) and is one seriously happy pup. He absolutely loves other dogs—big and small—and loves people just as much! He has even spent time around toddlers and has done great with them. Krew is the kind of puppy who wants to be part of the action, whether that means playing with his dog friends, hanging out with his humans, or rolling over for one of his favorite things: belly rubs!

Krew is still a young puppy, which means he can occasionally get a little nippy or mouthy when he’s excited and playing. This is normal puppy behavior and has not been observed as aggression. Like any young dog, he’ll benefit from a family who will continue teaching him appropriate play, boundaries, and good manners as he grows.

His mom is approximately 40 pounds at a healthy weight, but Dad remains a mystery! We initially believed this litter may be Lab mixes, but with an unknown father, we really can’t say for sure what combination of breeds made this adorable guy. We expect Krew to remain around his mom’s size, but adult size can never be guaranteed with a mixed-breed puppy.

Most importantly, Krew is super sweet, incredibly social, playful, and FUN. He would be an amazing companion for someone looking for a dog who wants to get out, play, make friends, and enjoy life right alongside them.

Looking for a fun guy? This is him!
