Notes from All Shepherd Rescue

Meet Melody!

Melody is a young, large-boned German Shepherd ready to be your next best friend ! She’s happy, affectionate, and wonderfully social—thriving on human companionship and enjoying the company of other dogs just as much. Melody greets the world with enthusiasm and a wagging tail, ready to be everyone’s friend. Because Melody is still very much a big puppy, her exuberance sometimes gets the best of her, and she could accidentally knock over small children. With her size and energy, consistent training will be important to help her mature into the well-mannered, confident adult Shepherd we know she’ll be. She’s smart, eager to please, and will do best with an adopter committed to ongoing training, structure, and guidance. In return, Melody promises loyalty, affection, and a lifetime of love. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, social GSD and are ready to invest in her continued training, Melody may be the perfect match for your family.

What happens next

  1. Contact All Shepherd Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to All Shepherd Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
