Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Yes, dog-savvy catsGood with kids: Yes, dog-savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse trained: Yes Haywood is a sweet, gentle, and affectionate boy with a heart as big as his smile and a loyal devotion that will have you completely smitten from the very first meeting. He is a medium energy guy who loves a good leash walk and running in fields. He enjoyed playing with his foster siblings in his southern foster home and has adjusted well to being an only child in his nothern foster home. His favorite activity is spending the day lounging around with his people. He would be a wonderful fit for just about any home looking for a devoted, easygoing companion that may take a little while to let his full personality shine. Haywood loved his foster siblings down south and gets along beautifully with other dogs, making him a great fit with or without a canine companion. He completely ignored the barn cats in his southern foster home and would do well with a dog-savvy feline sibling. He has done well with dog-savvy kids and would do best with children who can give him a little space and time to warm up on his own terms. Haywood is a smart, eager to please boy who is fully crate trained and settles in throughout the day and overnight without any issues. He is fully house trained on a consistent daily routine. This handsome, big-hearted boy is looking for someone ready to give him the love and forever family he deserves. Could Haywood be the one for you?
