Notes from Last Hope K9 Rescue

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: Yes with proper introsGood with cats: UnknownGood with kids: Older kids, 13+Crate trained: YesHouse trained: YesLivie is a playful love bug and is a joy to be around! This girl is energetic, but also enjoys a good cuddle session afterwards. Livie is a lover of nature who would make and excellent companion on your next outdoor adventure. She loves to be the center of attention and would thrive in a home with a conifident owner who will give her all the love she deserves. She does well with other dogs with proper introductions and enjoys playtime with close pals. She can be reactive to dogs on leash so environments like dog parks or day care will not be a good fit for her. She loves the other dogs she lives with in her home, but needs to build trust with any new dogs she encounters. She hasn't been around cats, but might do well with a dog-savvy cat in the home. Livie has been around children and is very sweet with them, but does better with older dog-savvy children who can read her cues and respect her space. She is shy around new people at first, but does well after a slow introduction. Her adopter should be prepared to advocate for her space in the home when meeting new human friends. This bright girl is very intelligent and food motivated, making her the perfect student. She is crate trained and house trained. She loves taking walks and zooming around a fenced in area. She is still working on her leash skills, but is sure to master that with consistency and training. She continues to blossom in her foster home and we know she will show her full potential with a family committed to continue her training. If you're looking for a nature loving pup who enjoys being the star of your show, then look no further than Livie! Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted.
