Notes from MSPCA - Boston Animal Care and Adoption Center

Meet our large and lovely tripod, Cali! Cali is a spunky girl that loves to play with toys and get snuggles from her people. She's a giant teddy bear that will gladly try and climb up on your lap or roll over for belly rubs. While Cali is an older lady, she still can get into mischief, like counter surfing, leash grabbing, or playing rough with her human friends. We are looking for an aodpter that can support Cali through her areas of need with positive reinfrocement. Here at the shelter, she's been amazing with training, and we are hoping she will continue making progress in her next home. Cali get around pretty well with three legs, but would like to avoid a home with stairs in it for her comfort. She would do well in a quieter environment with folks that are home more often than not as she heads into her golden years. She would like to be the only dog in the home, but could possibly live with kids that can respect her space around resources and aren't intimidated by her large stature.
