NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

NEW INTAKE 10/19/2026: Bellinzona - female - 2 years old - 7.10 pounds - Maltese

Reason for intake: Bellinzona came in with Winterthur... via animal control; both from the recent hoard situation where these will be the 12th and 13th dog/puppy we've taken in. There were about 30 dogs and puppies and 6 cats in the home, all seized due to the living conditions. Animal control is working with the people to assist them in getting the help they need. Please no negative comments. Winterthur and Bellinzona will be heading to our groomer and vet very soon for everything they need. Stay tuned.

NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

What happens next

  1. Contact Ninna's Road to Rescue using the button. AdoptNearby does not take applications.
  2. They will send you their application or ask a few questions about your home.
  3. Most organizations arrange a meet, sometimes a home visit, then a small adoption fee that usually covers spay or neuter and vaccines. That fee is paid to Ninna's Road to Rescue, never to AdoptNearby.
  4. Read the dogs care guide so you arrive prepared.
