Notes from Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County

Hi! My name is Yogi and I am 4.5 years old. I am the cutest baby baked potato with legs, and I am the most precious thing you will ever lay eyes on. I was recently surrendered back to the shelter because my owner was going into a long term care facility, and I could not go with them. Staff discovered pretty quickly that I was in pain because I would look at my tail and growl and try to attack it... I was taken to the vet and there was significant nerve damage to my tail, and it had to be amputated. I am still recovering from this surgery, but I am feeling so much better! Sometimes my tail is still pretty ouchy so please be careful with it (and me). My owner said I do pretty well with other dogs and cats and that I am a housetrained boy! When you come to see me at the shelter, I may seem grumpy behind my cage doors. When you take me out of my cage, I am a completely different dog so please give me a chance! Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!
