Notes from Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County

Meet Bongo! Bongo may have started life a little wobbly, but this sweet boy has never let that get in the way of having fun. His balance can still get the best of him sometimes, especially when he gets excited, but Bongo gets around independently and approaches life with plenty of enthusiasm. His absolute favorite place is outside, where anything can become the best toy ever. A ball? Absolutely. A piece of fuzz? Just as exciting. He adores tagging along with the older dogs in his foster household and is pretty convinced he’s one of the big guys. In reality, Bongo is a softy at heart. He enjoys playing with other dogs but can also happily entertain himself. Bongo has grown up being handled by adults and young children and has been learning good potty habits since he was little. He eats, drinks, plays, and potties independently. He’s a sweet, playful little adventurer looking for a family who will love his wobbles, his big-dog dreams, and that soft heart underneath it all. Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!
