Notes from Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County

Meet King a 6 year old pit mix who is looking for his final home. King came to the shelter at no fault of his own. His owner loved him very much but had to go live somewhere where he could be cared for and could not take King with him. King lived with another dog in his previous home who also came here, her name is Oreo but she has already found her new home, King is still waiting. King can be selective on his dog friends and does prefer female dogs. He has lived in a home with a cat so if you already have one, no worries King will be just fine! King does have a bad habit of biting ankles when people are walking. Its unknown why he does this but he hasn't ever hurt anyone. We do believe that he would do best in a home with older children because of his ankle nipping. Come meet King and get this loving happy guy into a home with a family who will give him all the love he deserves. Give the shelter a call at (574) 267-3008 or email them at info@awlwarsaw.com if you have any questions about me! If not, stop by the shelter at 1048 S 325 E in Pierceton, IN 46562 to look at me! No appointments necessary!
